ELAF Safety Locker (FT-2042A) costs ৳13,416 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from CutPriceBD.
ELAF Safety Locker FT-2042A is a steel security cabinet imported from China by Furnitex. This single-unit model holds documents, valuables, and small items behind a digital lock. The locker measures a compact footprint suitable for bedroom or office corners. Larger models exist in the ELAF range, but this FT-2042A size suits individual users or small households needing reliable storage without excessive floor space.
The cabinet body is welded steel with powder-coated finish in standard grey. One fixed shelf divides the interior into two usable zones. The locking mechanism is electronic with a digital keypad, powered by standard batteries. All moving parts are metal-on-metal construction without plastic hinges or composite materials.
When your locker arrives, open the box immediately in daylight. Check that the exterior paint has uniform colour across all four sides, top, and bottom surfaces. Press gently on each corner joint to confirm the welds are solid and do not flex. The digital keypad should respond instantly when you press the test code provided in the manual.
Examine the shelf for any dents, bends, or rust spots on its underside. Open and close the door at least five times to ensure the bolt mechanism engages smoothly without grinding sounds. Look inside the cabinet with a torch to confirm no debris or loose metal fragments remain from manufacturing or transport.
Set the locker on a completely flat, level floor away from direct heat sources and damp areas. Do not install it in a kitchen or bathroom where steam and moisture will corrode the electronic components over time. The floor mat included in the box should be placed first, then the cabinet positioned on top.
The locker must not tilt or rock when you press down on one corner. Even slight slopes cause the internal bolt to bind and slow down locking and unlocking cycles. If your floor is uneven, use shims under the base until the unit sits perfectly level and does not move when you apply downward pressure.
